Slightly Put of With A Surf For Sale

I have been looking at a 3.0 on ebay, I asked the seller if the coolant was in good condition, he says it's fine but added that stuff - K-Seal as a precautionary measure incase the head cracks. This has put me off a bit now! Why add it in the first place if it's ok.

I wouldn't slink...more run away. Sounds like the vendor is trying to offload this years turkey, a bit early.

I guess this is the problem when buying used. More of a problem with a Surf. You have no idea whats been put into the coolant to mask a cracked head.
