I used to have an Alfasud 1.5Ti as a youngster. Proper drivers car and kept it two years before tinworm got to it and the scrapman in the sky took it away.

Went to buy a Lancia Thema many moons ago not long after the Alfa but the rear suspension was shot. In fact it bounced so badly at the back you could make it hop over bumps as it went along. Suffice to say i didn't make the purchase

I'd have hoped the marriage and collaborations would have resulted in nicer interiors but so far nothing has changed. Subaru still have awful cheap interiors.

My better half used to run an MY02 Celica VVTi 140bhp model, really nice inside and puts my bugeye impreza to shame!!

Anyway, back on topic.

I had a Subaru years before I had the Surf. An old 2000 (might have been a bit later, maybe an 01) P1, it was the 2nd worst car I ever owned. It went like stink, but it was a pile of crap.

The worst was a TransAm, that lasted 2 weeks.
