Inner guard above right wheel is a small panel that can be removed for filter change.

There is a panel by the front right wheel.

But, I still coudl not get my oil filter off.

Even by turning the tyre in different ways I could not get a decent hold on the filter, and if I did get it off, I'm not 100% sure I oudl be able to get a new one on - there's just not enough space.

        While on the subject.

The oil filter that's on there at the mement is black all over.
Is this just a dirty filter, or is there some sort of case over it ?

I find those grippy gloves, as worn by baggage handlers etc, absolutely brilliant for undoing the oil and diesel filters. They have rubber nodules on the palm and the fingers.
            It's only a hobby!
