Checked the water on my truck this morning, was low, needed about
2ltrs to top up. No sign of any leaks anywhere. Then i spotted a drip
from o/s sill, just behind the mudgaurd. I lifted the mat in the drivers
footwell and my heart sank when i saw a big puddle. Oh no, heater
matrix, oh no, dash out, there goes my weekend off. Turns out, when
i fitted the intercooler a couple of weeks ago and disturbed the heater pipes, one had'nt sealed
properly and coolant was leaking out the hose and following the copper
pipe through the bulk head and into the cab. Five minute fix, yippee,
leaving me plenty of time for my other love, quick spit and polish.
The last picture was taken from the passenger seat of the capri
as we drove past the truck
