  • Would anyone happen to know?

    if the jacks shown in the pic of the back of my Amstrad CB are for an external speaker? and if so what jacks/leads will i need to get? only ask as i'm gonna stick it back in and it'll be near impossible to get at when it's all in, and a small freeview box will be bolted right under the CB restricting the louvere's for it's internal speaker,
    meanwhile i'll have a google, took the model/serial no's down which i might need, ta in expectation,

    Got a set of headphones/earbuds... plug em in and give it a try..

      Afraid not mate, it may well be ok without another speaker (especiall as i've heard sweet FA from it in all the time it was fitted, well apart from static)

        My Cb has two like that Ian, I have external speaker in one and PA in the other....Great fun when little old Lady crossing road !

          Cheer's Dave, so a speaker jack's what i need, once wired a megaphone/loudhaler up in my old cresta, makes em jump eh!
