  • Tyre pressures with load

We tow a caravan but are unsure if we would need to adjust the tyre pressure to compensate for the extra load. Please advise. Thanks.

I tow a caravan & don't bother altering the preasures, run mine at 32psi alround.
If its not broke don't fix it.

      Same here !

Ian, unless you're towing a really heavy van with loads of noseweight I wouldn't bother - we run at 32psi with around 95-100kg noseweight on a 1500kg van

Life is too important to take seriously !

I have never bothered previously but it was brought up on the PC magazine forum so thought I would ask anyway. We will be going down to Warren Farm for a few days later this month. First long tow with the new Surf.

Just make sure all your fluids are topped up & in good condition & it will pull the caravan all day long.
