Do not buy one. List of faults: amongst others! Twisted rear cab - needed replacement, tailgate needed to be painted twice, CD changer didn't work when we picked it up, reversing sensors don't work, two safety recalls - u bolts had to be done twice, new springs, new steering column, rally art pack, burnt out, new cylinder head, got stuck in low box - on back of tow truck tonight - less than a month after we got it back wth new cylinder head. Many breakdowns, lots of stress and wasted money.

Two years ago it overheated and was in mitsubishi for about a month waiting for a new head. Then nine months later the engine overheated again and blew up & mitsubishi put a new engine in it. Then, 6000 miles later (only 46000 miles in total) the exact thing happened again and it is now in a workshop waiting on a new engine.

Sadly it hasn't even made it to 49000 miles and has developed massive engine failure. A recon engine has cost me £3700 and 3 weeks without a vehicle. This despite fairly light use and gentle driving to get better mileage.

it has spent more time in the garage being fixed than driving on the road. Intermittent fault on the engine management system, seized headrests in the rear, severe brake squeal and now at 3000 miles the turbo has blown.

(And that is just from the first page of owners reviews!)

A couple of friends have owned them and both had similar problems.

yeah, I look after a couple of pickup and challengers for a few friends, they are slighly pretty looking inside and a few more toys than Hilux's and Surfs, but they are really shoddily built, and noisy and slower than 2.4, even the 2.8 intercooled ones.

its too late iam involed its looking like i may be charged too
its not my falt if it all happend again i cound not do nothing any different
the paving slab did not hit him just his car
i lost my rag
i did punch him a few times then i gave him a DDT if you know what one is
well that finished him off
like a true gentleman fight it was over in 20 seconds or so
but in sted of just going home he tryed to run me over 3 times so i gave him a lesson that he wont forget in a hurry

i have told the police everything i have done
i have nothing to hide
he came on my property and tryed to attack me

the guy i had to subdue by DDT walked passed today
he looks a right old mess
i did phone an anbulance for him yesterday after the scuffle just to see if he was al right
i have a grazed elbo and a pain in the chest were his shoulder sat while i was giving him a DDT

other than that iam fine
the damage he made to my property is maddin
