  • Benefits of digital valve lifters for LEZ?

I've been reading a Diesel website recently (thinking of ditching the Surf for a Dodge). It's been interesting to note how a company is futureproofing Desel engines for running costs and emmissions. This cam-less head boasts the ability to drop cylinders out of running, can introduce an internal EGR system and assist with exhaust "after treatment". I assume this is LEZ type stuff as catalysts don't really work with Diesel engines.

Well from a standard engine where the crappest one made on a 90s RAM makes 440lb/f of torque you can't really go wrong (new ones RAMs make 880lb/f)
