In the market for a new truck. Hilux surf or Land cruiser

Im in the market for a new truck.

I loved my 2nd gen and my recently destroyed 3rd gen.

Have considered a land cruiser but never driven one or even been in one.
I know the 3rd gens are very similar and share alot of the same parts on certain land cruisers.

They do cost a bit more, are they worth it? Whats the big difference?

Any one with land cruiser experience?

I had a 70 series which I loved. Don't really see any although a few swb 2.4ltrs have been on bay lately. Feels like a proper off-roader and very capable. I had no issues in the 60,000mls I had it.

If not the one to go for is the 80 series 4.2ltr. Seem to hold their price well and regarded as the last of the proper landcruisers. Well that's my ramblings/thoughts.

The one that's like the 3rd Gen is the Colorado/Prado (not a REAL Landcruiser !) but it's very much like the 3rd Gen from a normal driving perspective
