  • Old weather report

Does anyone know how to obtain a weather report for last year? Mum is going to court tomorrow as someone hit her car May last year and wont accept fault. Within the last week two surprise witnesses have came forward although no one was at scene. The statement says also that weather was sunny / good although it was the opposite.
    Just need proof!

    Thanks,
    Oh Nana, what's my name?

Also have you tried the wayback machine? Go to www.archive.org and then put in a weather site (e.g. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/) and it will show you cahced results - you should be able to find the met office report for the day in question I'd have thought, which would be much more reliable/acceptable for court purposes...

It appears to have snapshots of 6, 11, 17 , 22, and 28th May... See e.g. here for 17th (scroll right down)... http://replay.web.archive.org/201005...office.gov.uk/

put weather forcast history in your browser and take it from there, the "tables weather history" will give you all the information you need, temp humidity etc.

It's as easy as that. Thats what it looks like they are doing. Their independant witness was following them and they were talking on first name terms when they pulled over together after they shouted the abuse at my mum.
The motability solicitors have advised my mum to settle on a 50/50 basis as its the least hassle and they dont mind paying the small amount of £500 or so damages for his car... erm??

This isnt the first time this sort of thing has happened though. A few years ago a foreign driver with no license but somehow had insurance stalled off the lights and rolled into the front of my mum. Eventually giving details after refusing, the police discovered he shouldnt have been on the road and so was at fault under these circumstances regardless of rolling into my mum (looking like she hit him) the motability insurers repaired his car any way and made her pay the £75 excess to have her car repaired..

Fighting a losing battle but not giving up this time!

Which may also be proof that said witnesses are lying, perjuring, ratbags.
Lying in court is a strange old thing, I reckon just about everybody lies in court, including and maybe especially policemen. I wonder at what point its perjury? Is that when you are found out, or is it driven by something else
