Although Lucifer has been sold and deposit paid i still have the truck here, mainly due to the starter packing up and having trouble finding one to fit.Lucky enough i found a company that was able to match the starter with a new one.I had to fit spacers on the o/s engine mount though in order for it to fit without catching the wishbone.£114 for a new one.Lucifer is booked in for mot Friday then he will soon be gone but i will enjoy driving it about though till its gone

dosen't it have the rover V8 fitted? (as i recall) i take it the stock starter fouls then?, i'd have thought it would have been taken into concideration when the engine was first fitted, so you have to fork out £114 before this guy'll collect? bit of a pi$$er,Too young to die and too old to give a toss

where the starter was situated it fouled the upper o/s wishbone so the replacement one i just put spacers in the engine mounts to lift the engine about 1/2" so the starter cleared.
I suppose it was just one of those things with the starter. The guy paid a decent deposit for a running truck and i had to get it repaired or lose the sale.I would sooner pay out for the starter then refund £500.
Just got the mot to do for the buyer who is paying for that and any work that needs doing so it's not to bad.
I know 2 track rod ends need replacing for sure so that will be done tomorrow and i have to fit a gaitor over the steering column to hide the weld from where it was extended but apart from that the tester is happy to test ithttps://www.facebook.com/groups/henpals/
