It's like when you see a nice 70's Corvette Stingray in the US sunshine - looks great over there, but the same car on some feller's front yard on a grey northern council estate reminds me of those RSPCA photos of some emaciated whippet tied up on a piece of rope.

I like the brutal functionality of the classic Jeep front end, but I'd go for a proper battered 50 year old Jeep shell on that pork chop running gear and never worry about the paint.
