  • Is this enough to fail my MOT?

I got my first MOT with the 4runner next week, and i can think of a couple of possible issues.

With all this trouble with my tailgate and window, the rear wiper is not working. Is that a fail?

Also, one of the reflectors on my bumper is broken. Im hoping this wont be an issue.

And i had a stone chip on my windscreen, right in my line of vision. But when autoglass repaired it, they assured me that despite it still being visible, it shouldnt fail the MOT *fingers crossed*

Rear wiper wont be a fail, reflector could be. Think you should be safe with the screen as well.

if you take the reflector off then it cant be tested, not sure but worth fining out, mine has no reflectors on the bumpers

The regs require rear reflectors. You will fail for missing reflectors, it is possible your motor has the reflector in the rear light cluster.

right i better get the reflector replaced then!

Plus, im thinking i better take the wheel spacers off too!

The spacers don't make any difference as long as the tyres are not rubbing on the wheel arch.

The wheels sticking out are not an MOT failure

There are reflectors below the reverse lights.
Remove the rear wiper, it's an accessory anyway and won't be part of the test.
              Wheels/tyres are fine.

good news. I removed the bumper reflectors and rear wiper. No fails there. Tyres sticking out from arches wasnt an issue either.

Bad news: Nearside front CV joint gaiter split. Bummer
