  • Hard faced barstewards!

As some of you lot might know, I work as a driving instructor. I'm with BSM, so I have to have one of those awful Fiat 500's. When I came out to it this morning, I could'nt believe what I saw! Theives had broken a window, got in, and removed half of the dashboard. They took out the passenger airbag sub assembly, the airbag/horn assembly from the centre of the steering wheel, and then went on to hacksaw through the interior paneling so that they could remove both front seatbelt assemblies. Obviously knew exactly what they were doing, and where all the hidden bolts, clips and electrical connectors were!....... Spent all day pi$$ing about with phone calls and waiting for the police........GRRRR!....Mick.

      re

One of my neighbours happened to look out his front window at 11.30pm one night and saw a ned under his car.

He thumped the window and ran out, by this time the ned had offskied.

To his utter amazement the ned had been removing the bottom valance off his Renault Laguna and was almost done.

      The mind boggles!

          Madness...

Not as extreme I know, but a mate of mines brother had all the fuel nicked out of his RX-8. Not syphoning the tank, they just jack it up and stuck a screwdriver through the tank, then sawed the bottom of the filler neck to get the rest out. I guess the way fuel prices are going..........

A chap on the M forum came out one morning to find the front bumper on his M5 neatly removed....

            Tell me about it.....

Some little sh1t keyed my surf yesterday.

I really wonder what parents do these days as they clearly don't do anything to teach any form of discipline or respect to their kids.

Sorry to hear that... somehow keying is almost worse as no one gains anything from it....

Wouldn't you just love to catch the buggers

I kind of agree with that statement at least if they're stealling something it's for a reason, even though it is annoying , wrong and damaging.

But keying or vandalism for no reason is just ******, *****, ******,********

This reminds me of one of my favourite things I remember hearing Jimmy Carr say on QI...

Thats why it really made my blood boil, I'm a fairly laid back and very non violent person, but if i caught the culprit I would beat seven shades out of them.
I've spent the last few months and i dread to think how much tidying up my Surf, new panels, new suspension, body lift, rims and 33's to get it looking tidy.
Yet if i even bother to mention it to the insurance, they'll probably just write it off as ultimatly its a 21 year old truck worth about £900.
                    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

                    Sorry rant/hijack over.......

Back in the day, someone broke into our Morris Marina, neatly only smashing the rear quarter light to gain access. Nicked my sub out of the boot, and then used my tool kit (which was in the boot, they took this as well) to take off the battery, alternator and starter motor....
Didn't realise they'd nicked half the engine and was puzzled when it wouldn't start.

Looking back, why didn't they just nick the entire car!!!!

BARSTEWARDS the lot of em. They would have got £20-30 for the parts if that. cost me £200 to replace them....

And me, adds a personal touch. Should've said "four queue, Mick" instead...

And a sub in a marina.
