Has any one had any dealings with this supplier? Also on Autotrader there is someone calling themselves a Surf Specialist. Has any one had dealings with this company? Not sure where they are based as only mobile phone numbers. We are looking for a 3rd gen 3.0L diesel auto.

We are getting rid of our Mondeo and getting a full refund of our deposit due to numerous problems we are having with the auto gearbox. There is a problem with the software controling the gearbox and Ford cannot fix it without re-writing the software which they are not prepared to do. Prefer a torque convertor box as opposed to these rubbish DSG gearboxes.

A few people (including me) have bought trucks from there. Shabby premises in a shabby part of town, but I guess it keeps the rent low! He's prepared to deal too, so go in low!

Got a heavily modded third gen off him. Had steering issues so i complained. He took it back no problem, gave me another that i`m more than happy with. He even gave me £20 for diesel to cover my wasted journey. Seems genuine, he`s a surf owner, he reads this forum and is concerned about his good name on it and as apache say`s. He`s prepared to deal.

Probably. Worst thing I ever did was selling the Surf, but the temptatoin of a new car with all the toys was too much. The Mondeo is great, but the aurtomatic gearbox is crap! The ECU cannot make up its mind which gear to select when you brake, slow down and then accelerate! Apparently a common problem but they don't tell you about it until they have seperated you from your dosh!
Unfortunately I cannot even entertain a manual gearbox car.
