Thanks very much guys, had a good day (apart from by back playing up, and a row with one of the sods across the road who parked in the middle of the road then stood there gouwping while i did several shunts to get in line with my garage, threatened to plant a hammer in his head,)
spent the day at my daughters, good meal etc, i got a "real ale" brewing kit so gonna set that up today, had a pint of the same ale my son started a while back and has just matured, very nice, a bit like Fullers london pride, which is a favorite pint of mine, no led cake tho!! it was a night light and six fairy cakes!! wasn't room for the right amount of candles
mixing pain killers and real ale has sort of given me that "couldn't give a toss"
feeling, so chilling todayToo young to die and too old to give a toss

tip my son got from a guy at the farm is to smear a little vasiline on the keg tap rubber and the top valve, his leaked a bit, raw stuff in the kit is like treakle and smells quite nice to me,Too young to die and too old to give a toss

Well Ian, just gone and done it!
A lot of those beers apparently improve by bottling and storing, which means if I get a few on the go, I might have a chance of hanging on to some for BBQs. I have a spare fishtank heater and a shelf ready in the workshop, and then its into the cellar (garage) for clearing / agingCutting steps in the roof of the world
