            35 year old Bunnahabhain, yummy.

I've also been allowed to run my finger over the wet cork of a Bowmore that was £1,006 per nip.

Glen kinchie. The best liquid of ANY sort, known to man. And I'm off soon to the place it's made.

£10000 a bottle - weeeeeeeeeee neither wonder he wouldn't let it go.

is that todays value, this was 12 years ago - the bottle i saw was very old and was in a wooden box. i'm guessing it had been a showpiece in the casino bar. it was just over half full.

the casino owner and my partners brother were in business together hence the b-day gift.

They did a release in 1991 and another a couple of years ago. Think they have both been around the £10k mark (though not from personal experience, obviously). There is a 40 year old too - that is still £1700-odd a bottle...

aaah maybe i had the cheap stuff - i always remembered 50 years old but likely to be the 40 i think at 12 years ago - was lovely whisky whether 40 or 50.

the wooden case looked 150 years old
