Okay, I'm starting to get pee'd off at the number of people who think it's okay to make others aware that they are thinking about selling something, then list a full item description and a price. Same goes for a how much is it worth question, look in the For Sale section or Ebay to get an idea.

Like the majority of members on here everything I've ever sold through this forum has been paid for in the For Sale section and I'm becoming disillusioned that others, who are blatantly advertising, are not have their posts removed by the moderators.

Give me moderator powers and I'll get rid of the bl00dy things!

Prove it's an intentional way of defrauding the forum and not just chat then you can do something about it. Otherwise you have to give people the benefit of the doubt, its not fair otherwise. Not everyone is out to screw you over, some people really are just 'feeling the water', who wants to pay for that?

I think people get the message in most of the replies to these threads.

If you just said "go look what others sell for in the For Sale section" then the post can drop out of sight pretty quickly.

Breather, and relax... Its an unstopable issue IMHO, without over moderating and no one really wants that.

I'd go along with that, as long as the priviledge wasn't abused. Let the non paying members pay a fee as an incentive to pay their subs.

Nice idea, but financially unviable, or we'd do it! No one wants to pay for anything, but in real life it dosn't work like that.

We've already had headaches about people not being happy with 'serial breakers' taking the pee.

Honestly, unless I'm being kept in the dark there is is no money being made out of this place what so ever.

No one is getting rich, all the fee's are going to keep the place running, you'll not find a bigger specialist marketplace to sell your Surf or parts on.

SMC costs me £140 a year to run.

I have no issue paying, I know the owner base I am reaching. I just live in the wrong place

I certainly don't assume I'm being shafted, Tony. I don't mind paying my subs as I've had so much help from forum members over the years.

However, there are certain parties who are forever wanting information, who won't pay a penny into the forum. They do however post whenever they have spent money on something else! (That's a lot of evers, however!)
