Roof Bars

Just got my Roof bars from Bob. Thanks Bob! They ar egenuine Toyota ones, but the plastic ends are a really gawdy and faded cream colour. Does anyone know hwat would be the best type of paint to use on these. I wanna aint them black.

What about the stuff they use to paint plastic bumpers with? I think its cured by heat so it doesn't peel off.

Or try your local body/paint shop, they will probably know the best stuff to use - might even do it for you.

Can you post details of how you fitted them please, coz I fancy a set.

Yep that stuff would do the job, sticks like s**t to an army blanket too, you wanna try get it off your hands afterwards. Alternatively plasticote would also do the job, also any type of interior plastic paint. Make sure you clean the surface first though.

Thanks guys! Theres not much to installing tham. you just kinda put them on and tighten the screws. A donkey on acid could do it with a blindfold on!

ROOF Bars

Hi Delboy glad to hear you have got the roof bars, sorry you are not happy with the colour of the ends but as you have pointed out you can paint them.

Sorry Bob! Wasnt having a go! Just my personal taste. They fit perfectly, so i am very happy with them!
