  • Ebay question

Ive had my eye on a van with no bids so i asked the seller if he has a buy it now price, he replied with "make me an offer".
The starting bid is £1500 with no bids & only a few hours to go, what should i offer him? Try it on & say £1200 or will he be expecting more than the £1500 start bid.
If its not broke don't fix it.

If hes had no bids I would go lower. Why not try, worst he can say is no.

Si offer a grand, if he says no tell him you can't be the buyer and the seller. Once he says I can't take less than 1500 tell him you can't go higher than 1100 and leave him your number. He will call and settle on 1250 before Monday.

If not then there's other Van's

Anyway you sure you need a van, I know who has a good 2nd gen for sale

I'd end up with nothing if I yoshie bided on everything.

I've emailed him £1100 so I'll see what happens now. It's actually ended with no bids.

Hummm 2nd gen you say, errr no thanks I want something reliable.

Did i buy my truck off you, cos that's exactly what i did lol.

Go and see the truck and offer him cash on the bonnet, makes it damn hard for the to refuse, wouldn't go over 1200 unless he is throwing in 6 months tax like mine did.
