This is a Gunson Hi-gauge compression tester.
Spec; This tester has a flexible high pressure hose and fits all 14mm spark plug holes. Calibrated in imperial and metric pressure values, you can diagnose worn piston rings, oversize cylinder bores, etc.

I have no idea if this is any good, but remembered someone saying they needed a compression tester to check if their head had cracked & this came up on a local community website for free. As it connects to the spark plug, presume it will only be good for the petrol Surfs.

Let me know if you are interested and I will get in touch with the person who has it, or let me know if it's no good for any Surfs.

I'd have it if I felt the need to test my compression.

My compression is fine though. Yesterday I compressed to about 50psi before explosive release.

I could make use of that if you can get it.

        Thanks

                  Hi Yoshie,

Yes mate. I was on my way to pick it up this afternoon but unfortunately my truck broke down!

I was also mistaken & it isn't free, they want £10 for it. I thought that was pretty reasonable so was gonna get it anyway.

I've let them know that I will collect it asap. So will hopefully be able to get it to you soon mate.

                            And?

Nobody searches or reads full threads any more, why should I be different?
