Any of those heads will do (Steve or RT) there's also others who supply AMC heads for these trucks, nearest is in Catterick, built or not, cheaper too.
Its easy to do the job if you have the gear, (decent socket set, open enders 10mm 12mm 14mm etc and torque wrench) get the complete gasket set/belts from RT and take your time, also try not to lose the half moon bit from the cam cover and the other one from the cam (woodruff key) While its apart service the viscous fan too with new silicone oil as this part looks like its working properly but is easy to mistake its effectiveness, which contributes to the oheat problems, new thermostat, rad cap and a good flush of oil and coolants when you restart n it'll be like new. Probably get me more abuse, however, oil/engine flush is a bad idea IMHO.
Many cases of engines failing within days/weeks of engine flush. I don't trust the chemical clean contents of the flush in an engine.BrianComment
