Hi, I have just got my self a gen 2 surf. first one i have owned and what can i say? Very impressive! A lot of truck for the buck.

I am having problems with the power arial, the tellescopic part has broken and is not going up/down. I can here the motor on start up. Not getting a good reception. can any one tell me If i can get just the tellescopic bit or do i have to get the motor/ gear part as well?
How do you get access to removing the unit, i had a quick look yesterday (under the bonnet, and between the door and the wing). I am not sure how easy/hard a job is it.

you can just buy the mast on its own, think Milners or Roughtrax do them as well as some on ebay

Got mine from Roughtrax, and after following 'technical' instructions actualy did it myself !!! now there's a thing
