Don't know about operating instructions, but what do you want to know about the wiring?

Thanks for the reply's, i did see that user manual Vince and will prob buy it, dunno if it contains the "hook up" diagrams, guess i'll need to email em and ask,
basicly i just need to know what wire does what, i can make a educated guess at some of em such as batt, ign feeds and possible some of the speaker wires but i'd like to check before i go connecting up and possibly feck up the unit, as ya see from the pics, (is this loom an ISO thing or the sterio's orininal?) there are two small sockets as well,
colours are (the speaker side of the socket)
          green and green/black
          white and white /black
          grey and grey/black
          purple and purple/black
pretty sure these are the speaker pos & neg,

          power side of the socket
          red (pos batt feed)
          orange (pos ign feed)
yellow (poss ign as my other telly thing has a yellow and thats ign)
          blue (poss aeriel power?)
          two blacks (both ground?)
the small sockets are a red and grey and the other a single white,
think i'll try and find a Blaupunkt dealer local (like the sony shop) and maybe they'll do a diag,

forgot to add, thanks Al, afraid that guys post wasn't much help to me but thanks all the same

Don't know which one it is Ian, but:

              http://www.blaupunkt.de/fileadmin/us...0001_EA_GB.pdf

Just match the part number on the unit to the one on the manual.

If that's your wiring in the pics then it's the standard iso colours -

                Red ignition live
Yellow permanent live (sometimes red/yellow need swapping round)

                Black earth
                Blue antenna / amp power
                Orange lighting circuit

The speaker cables are the other block of eight - each colour pair is one speaker, earthed wire has the black line

Can't remember offhand which is left / right front/back but use the fader / balance to isolate each corner and test with a speaker.

                Hth,

                Rob.

Edit - the speaker wires have what they are printed on them (I can see it on the purple wire in pic)

Just a thought, but halfrods sell iso conversion loom adaptors.
I'd guess that if you popped down to your local one and looked at the adaptors for older audi's/mecrs the colour codes etc might match?
