  • Oil pressure sender unit

Where does one usually fit an oil pressure sender unit.
Not on a Smurf particularly, just in general

Is there an existing threaded hole on the housing usually ?

Depends on the vehicle, but you could remove the oil light sender and fit a pressure sender in it's place.( with it's own wire to the gauge obviously.)

          Yea, that's a good idea.
          Thanks for the info.
          And
          While I have your attention
Do you know what the wheel offset is on a 3rd gen?

No, but a 2nd gen is minus 8 if that helps. (wheel hub towards the outside of the wheel)

My wheels on the 3rd gen are zero offset. (wheel hub in centre of wheel)

If you use a t piece you could have both sender and light
bare in mind though they are usually tapered threads

Yep, 1/8 NPT. Toyota use 10mm most of the time though.
