Hi im collecting a 3.0TD 1995 surf tomorrow apart from window motors bumpers oil leaks what else should i look for!! I cannot wait to get into this hobby its my first 4x4 ever.
personally, I'd drop the 3.0 like the hot potato it is, and buy a land rover...much more reliable.

The surf is a great motor - much more comfortable and reliable than a landy - I bought my first one 18 months ago and it's the only motor i've ever spent money doing up because I want to (not just fixing)
