You really ought to try and have a go.

It's not hard, the instructions are good and there is a really good write up with photos on here somewhere on how to do it.

The only thing I would recommend different to the instructions is to glue the four little dials down. I found mine wondered over time and I had to take out again and glue down.

Yep send it to me, it'll give me something to do in the wee small hours when I can't sleep thinking about what to do next to get a V8 working properly.. I'll even illuminate the needles for you as they can't be seen at night.

Mate that looks mint , What you want me to do remove and send you the whole unit ? Just one thing that concearned me , My instrument unit is a 3.0l unit with no turbo light , Will that be an issue ? Or another idea ? if I buy a used unit , the type with the turbo light and send that will that do the job ?

Just your unit and the dial kit is all I need. I can do it as soon as it arrives and post it back the same day so you're not without a speedo for too long. (Although you can still drive the truck with no instrument cluster)
All the diesel kits have the turbo light, it just does nothing if fitted to the 3.0's unit.
You can of course send a second hand unit, but the odometer reading won't be the same as yours.

                  p.s. Blue needles or red?

Well , I didn't do my homework correctly Lol
I bought the unit to fit them into but its the 2.4l unit mine is the 3.0l
Even got one with similar milage , Anyway its different wiring so I thought Id have a go at fitting the dials anyway and it wasn't as bad as I thought it may be. I guessed that someone may like the unit part of the job already done so Fleabayed . I will get round to doing mine at some point , Peice of cake now I know what Im doing, Just the wiring and where to wire to etc ....

I Have also listed a rear window motor surplus to req

From memory there are only two wires to connect, +ve and -ve.

I worked out which two were these on the multi plugs around the back of the dials and scotchlocked onto them. I also removed the lamps in the instrument cluster so as not to overload the wiring loom.
