Apache - a scaredy cat?!

Went to Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre today and just had to share a couple of photos...





I'd definitely recommend a visit there if wildlife is your thing. Highlight of the day (at least for the little 'un) was getting involved in the training of a young-ish (3 years old I think) rescue owl called Libby...



He could hardly contain his excitement when Libby landed on his (slightly oversize) leather gauntlet!

Superb...I happen to know that the "apache" won't generally eat a tandoori unless there's beer there as well...bit of a scardey cat.
