            Yep I started explaining interference to her and she mentioned she moved her DAB radio next to the boiler recently (its in the kitchen) so she moved that and powered it off but the boiler kept going on / off until we changed the stat to a warmer temperature than the room.

            I might be able to do a better fault find when I'm actually there rather than try and explain to my 67 yr old nan.

            And I do agree with you. I don't like wireless devices full stop.
