              Do you know anyone at college? When I needed one to callibrate my digital tacho I was still at college so used it after class one day. The tutor didnt mind as he was even interested in it.

                      Speed signals, TPS signals, stuff like that.

                      My new scanner works a treat too. Can't figure out how to switch to 'live data' yet though, unless it doesn't work on OBD1??

                        I'd think you could pick something up quite cheaply for the sort of things you'll be looking at Vince. You don't need high speed or resolution really.

                        We have several in our 'junk' room which will eventually be 'recycled' - but when is another matter!

                              Oscilloscopes are clearly marked as oscilloscopes, and look quite different.
