i just guessing that its got to be at the bell houseing part
were it joins there
if so get it fixed properly
i have a leak there and had it been just that it would have been fine
were it runs or drips from is not an indicater of were the leak is comeing from
atf travels and then drips off
it turned out to be more than just a gasket on mine
it was the spine off the reverse gear that had knocked off and gone into the atf pump and feked the lot up
that in turn made parts of my gearbox dry i had kept it toped up with atf but then in one go
it droped the lot and i had a few miles to go yet so i carryed on driveing
after about 1 min i could not see nothing for smoke
i was sure i was on fire but did not want to stop because thats when you see flames
anyhow it did not quite set afire but it was close
i had to have a my gearbox totaly rebiult cost 745 quid theres a thread on it if you search
so just make sure you dont just think its a gasket make sure you know were the leak is and not were its dripping from dont stop till its found 100% sure
its not fun driving with the idea of flames under ya surf because the smoke is that bad you will beleave your on fire
What and where is it leaking. Is it leaking from the removable pan, right at the bottom of the box, or is it leaking from between the engine and gearbox.
