Snorkel.....again...

Ok so been surfing stuff on eblag and noticed that the overal shape and end of the snorkel for the lamerover 200tdi looks as though it would be suitable to fit a surf if the tube extended through the wing and inner wing.



Has anyone ever taken one and lined it up to see if the angle of dangle and face to the wing is anywhere similar ?

Only ask cus they are way cheaper than toyota ones.......

yeah it will fit with some mods and fiddling

It depends on the windsceen angle, the Lame Rover has a much more upright screen compared to a Surf.

The top might end up in the middle of nowhere, or the bottom corner interfere with the door.

Hard to guess without seeing it against truck.

If its polyethylene plastic and not fibreglass, some careful use of heat would probably shape it to fit.

You can new snorkels for 2nd gen 4runners from Spain for around £100 delivered, there was a link posted on here a few days ago.

Just the fact that i found a Safari lamerover one for £150 and the Toyota one was about £250......
Not that i need one just curious.......
