To be fair it's noticable but not awful. The front roll bar is 100% noticable and horrible to drive without.
    Fully agree.

The rear bar makes near no difference with LC80 springs on the back. Removing the front bar makes for very pronounced body roll on roundabouts etc.

Removing the rear one seems to be a good compromise. You'll never have properly useful articulation on the front anyway, the wishbones are too short.

I have removed my Rear ARB and feel some roll but then again i have been in Car's for most of my Driving Career.

However i feel that the extra Body roll on Road is negated by the Articulation i had at Avalanch last year.

With regards to the MOT, if it aint there they cannot check it!!!

Try doing sudden swerves (as in accident avoidence) without an arb, then you'll see what the difference is. Might be okay with LC s, but i wouldn't want a daily driver without one. Imho.

Even changing lanes on the motorway without any ARP was a strange experience to say the least! It was like being in a boat in a storm. You could look out the window and see the ground almost.
I left my rear ARB off, it's hardly noticeable - as was said already

I have yet to have any concerns that would make me put my ARB back on so as it stands as a daily runner I find not having it on no problems at all...

lol soon mate, I bought the tube, it's a start. I am a little busy the now with new job and I have the 2nd gen to finish and move on. I will then have bumpers for you.

I understand completely - my 3.0 project has been sitting unchanged for months now. Real life has a habit of taking up 'truck time'

You have other issues then, either with your suspension or your driving style. Either way, they need to be addressed.

Drive within the vehicle's limits and you'll be fine.

Probably driving style. Changing lanes on the motorway with no ARB has to be done slowly and steadily.

I addressed it by fitting the front ARB back on

Any change of direction or velocity, in any vehicle, should be done steadily...

That won't help with your driving style, you need to look at that too.

Are you saying I don't need the handbrake to turn sharp bends either??

Okay so what about when I need to squeeze in between two vehicles on the motorway? Are you saying I shouldn't have to "pop" the Surf on its two offside wheels to reduce the footprint to allow me to do that?
