  • best suspenion for my needs

I have a 2nd gen on 33s with LC springs and +2 shocks on rear with 1 and half in bj spacers on front. i didnt get shoes to hold the larger springs in as i couldnt find them so i hear knocking when going over bumps etc. i will be taking the truck green laning and wild camping through the pyranese and dartmoor etc so was wondering if a suspension kit would be best suited for my needs instead of what i have now, and what is the minimum lift i need to accomodate the 33's will it be more robust and be more reliable. any recomendations on where to get the kit from and a particular brand.

    cheers

Just search this forum or contact Surfenstein for his spring cups and then fit them. Problem solved and no suspension revamp for your truck. Should save you the expense of the revamp, and minimise the time the truck is off the road. It's a win-win.

Great looking website, but none of the pics/links goes anywhere!!!!!!

Just a tip, but if i want to buy something, I expect to be able to click on it, get more info, then have the option to buy/add to cart.

Maybe its just me, burt it doesn't work!

My apologies. I do understand its 23:56 on a Saturday evening, you seem quite excited about the possibility of purchasing some suspension parts. However I do advise waiting until Monday and contacting any of the numbers I have given in the links I provided

            1. Read a few relevant threads so you have an understanding of the options open to you

            2. Talk to somebody that actually KNOWS about the implications of the various options rather than some random muppet that just pontificates online

            3. Make your own decision based on the information received

            4. Purchase and fit any hardware necessary to implement your decision

Or, more succinctly, do as Dieselboy says and ring Mark - his website may not be what you want to see but that's probably cos he'd rather people buy the goods and services they ACTUALLY need rather than what they THINK they need !

There is a reason for that and as bob has quite rightly said,we would rather you ring us and talk to us about your requirements, than just sell you stuff that you dont actually need. The pics are there just to let you see some of the bits we do.A lot of our stuff is bespoke. As for the links they work fine on my computer.
