my rear crank seal has gone
the back of the tray is oily as is everywhere else back there
it only drips a little onto the ground though - very little in fact
what about getting an old wedge of carpet and sticking it up in there at the backplate and rear of the sump - a rubber bungee cord clipped to something would hold it in place - then change it very 2 or 3 months
the alternative is a trip to Tony to drop the gearbox out, following other posts Tony seems to do it for £200! Toyota quoted £750 to 800!!
a couple of other local garages weren't even interested
thoughts all?
