Maybe change my suggestion to "wedding reception" then maybe?

I can't remember what our wedding invites were like (the fateful day was in September last year). The wife sorted them all and I just needed to turn up on the day. Sober. Ish.

That sounds a bit like the amusing thing you do to your bosses computer where you customise autocorrect in Word to change a particular person's name (preferably their boss) to something abusive!

Extra MEMORABLE just doesn't scan or sound right when read aloud.

more memorable, hugely memorable etc all work but not just not "extra"

It sounds wrong like "more special" does, not sure if there is some grammatical rule why; but it doesn't scan at all.

Different top line would be better.

Make this extra special day more memorable! if that stops a row then use it lol
