Well, weather forecast is "Light Rain" so its a bit of a gamble if we get soaked or its sunny!
Rustinho was thinking of coming down. If anyone else wants to help or any V8's want to annoy the neighbours then feel very free to come down!
I'm up for it if you are.
Animal, Didn't want to push the issue, as I know you've got a little 'un and weekends are precious.
    Let me know guys.

I can't make it I'm afraid - been volunteered for demonstrating "The Physics of Music" at a local school. Should be quite good fun building "electric guitars" (ie plank of wood, some wire & a pickup), flutes made from plastic water pipes, etc.

Should be interesting but not as much fun as getting that damn body lift sorted...

I know hilux pick ups are indestructable, according to ebay/TG, but can you really play music on one?!?! Never seen Eric Clapton double hammering on a Hilux!

Shame you're not coming, will probably do it anyway, regardless if it poors with rain, or if no one turns up. Watch this space. Posts will start with "URGENT HELP MY TRUCK'S FALLEN OFF ITS CHASSIS"

Excellent stuff! I reckon I might be able to manage doing the bodylift on my own but I'm not overly confident about it and would prefer the help - plus it's a great excuse to get to know some of you guys a little better too.

Look what we've gone and done!

It was dry this morning, so a quick call to Animal, and off we went.

I'll let the pics do the talking, oh, and we did it in about 3 hours...

Big thanks to Animal for his assistance and 14mm deep socket.

                        Roughtrax plus 2" springs...

Add some Coil Spacers and jack up the TB's...

                        Then the 2" body lift...

An extra 10 mins to do and if it helps in hot weather / long climbs then all the better.

                            As usual YMMV etc.

Just reading through this thread and the above made me think if you drop the rad on a 3.0l will you ever be able to fill the cooling system properly???
