If it's that urgent (MOT or something) use some old baked beans tins, jubilee clips and some exhaust paste/bandage. Should be enough to get you through. If it's not that I'm sure you'll manage til the 31st.

I managed with a cracked exhaust for a while recently until I could afford to get it welded. Doesn't sound all that appealing but worse things happen at sea and all that...
