    Thats right. As long as you use standard stuff, it should all work OK, and you'd only need to tune the antenna for that last 5% or so of range.

    CB nerds will argue that you need to 'Swar in your twig' but they're talking pseudo science claptrap.

      They have a midland 98 on there, i like the look of them fitted where the ash tray is. There is a pic on here of one fitted there, it might be yours.
      If it can be broken it can be fixed
