I might be able to add some info if you're right...
It was one I looked into getting cos it was a sensible price, fairly local to me and it was up on a classified ad rather than an auction. I emailed the seller to try and sort out a viewing but never got a reply and the ad disappeared so I guess I was just too late and it had already been sold.

It looked pretty much identical (same tyres and the reg looks vaguely familiar too) and just thought I'd pose the question!

Can't remember how much it was up for but I was looking at pretty much anything under £1500 at the time.

      Ah okay,
Wheels and Tyres were from a bloke with a lifted surf in Northampton, been lifted, "surf" decals added, front indicators changed, rear light clusters changed, 2" RT+2 springs, 2" coil spacers.
Got it from "Surf Specialist" - (see autotrader - he'll be around) had a few others at the time.
Spookily he had another with reg only 1 digit different. Maybe part of a large import group all registered at same time???

Mr Muscle oven cleaner spray is good for de-coking inlet manifolds, throttle bodies and cleaning up brake dust encrusted alloys.

Used to use Mr Muscle on my Exhaust tips on previous car - good to cut through the carbon.

                  L*69 WPO blue 3.0?

In fact, just remembered we saw another WPO reg one in our village last year....

Must be something to do with the issue of plates to imports... has to be.

Why? Does Hydrochloric Acid affect tyres?

I cleaned the RAISED LETTERING with Wonder Wheels. It was washed off after about 20 seconds on.

More damaging to the wheel/paint imho.
