Whats this?

Can anyone please tell me what these wires that i seem to have pulled off a sensor type thing on the fuel filter top do? i'm assumeing this is where their supposed to go as i didn't notice breaking em off, (red line's),
The other one (green line's) also goes to another sensor thing on the filter top
what is the purpose of these sensors, any chance it can be repaired or Stormy!! have you got one for sale?

I'd assume it is a heated fuel filter top. You can compare it with the pics in this thread.

Thanks! seems i have the "winter pack" heated fuel filter and didn't know, dont know if it's worth replacing it or just leaveing it tapped up, thought it was odd as i got a surf filter complete a while back to run on the veg oil, i noticed it had a different top to mine, this one just has the water sensor thing fitted at the bottom,
