        Last time I saw that was in Towyn when the sea wall gave way, the water just picked cars and such up and shot them away amazing nobody died.

          I don't reckon anyone will be too bothered about the "lagoon" or other damage as long as they're OK, hope you n yours are safe Nev, I met many folk over there in that area in 2008 and couldn't find fault with a single person, at least they still know how to pull together in that part of the world. H

                  Brisbane itself is ok as far as warning about the flood goes. It was a relatively slow rising water level and plenty of time to evacuate for most. It's the flash floods west of Brisbane that has claimed many lives with about 75 still missing. Two whole families from a small town called Murphys Creek, located at the bottom of the Toowoomba Range are unaccounted for and they do not expect to find any survivors. The water you see in that video from Toowoomba goes down the mountain through places like this.
