1 year on from an insurance cost of £291, I just got quoted £445 and my insurance ends at midnight! Not entirely the brokers fault, I received the renewal in good time only I forgot. I phoned but they unable to lower the price so I came into this forum looking for help.
I tried one of the search engines and just got mucked around. £441 after a lot of time wasting from Swinton. So I phoned up Sky and we agreed on £280.90 for 3rd party fire and theft + business use + £350 excess + wife as named driver. Ok, ok so there might be cheaper quotes but I needed to get the vehicle legal for when we drive back from London ... cant exactly say I have the luxury of a lot of time to get involved so Sky it is!
One thing, if the vehicle is valued at less than £2,000 they say it can only be insured 3rd Party etc . .. such is life, will be much easier when I'm on my
