Im sure they are that high on freelanders or is it a high level brake light that's attached to the rear wheel?
If its not broke don't fix it.

i'm not sure, but i think fog's HAVE to be on the off side, not centre? (so other traffic know that in fog that is your outer edge) i hope i'm wrong because i really like this! i knocked my hangy down one off the first ever off roadin day so, its a pain. i have my MOT end of this month, and need to have it on by then so will ask wk before i take it in, if it's ok, i will be doiung the same! Well done mate.

Mine is in the centre, just above the towbar/ball and has passed two MOTs.

Really like that idea! I'm missing a fog light as I removed it before the ground did. I might borrow your idea Si if that is okay!?
                    Oh Nana, what's my name?

Think it looks the business, as for MOTs; I think that depends largely on who does it and what mood they're in. A lot of testers would apply common sense rather than the letter of the law.

I'm still set on cutting mine into the bumper central with two extra reversing lights flanking it. Call me an old woman but I don't like reversing two tons where I can't see.

Measured it today & it's 1045mm to centre so I'm sure I can get away with 45mm.

Chuck a couple of bags of sand in the back before you go for the MOT.
