I have just got back from a Christmas road trip to Poland. We covered 2400 miles in 10 days exactly to the front door, just worked out the fuel and got 24.5mpg. 2000 of that was very snowy motorways, fog, blizzards and very bad A-roads, if the severe driving conditions halted i was pushing it hard to make up time. the remaining 400 was driving in 4wd in snow around town.

I don't think this is to bad considering, the surf was a dream and amazingly comfy. Had no issues apart from before setting off.... loaded the car up with baby and all, warming her up and realizing i had no dash lights followed by no back lights arrghhh. I had just fitted a stereo and panicked that i had done something under the dash. Sent family back inside and proceeded to take the dash off again to see what i could have done. Stopped and thought for a second, ran back inside and searched the forum to find about fuses and it was just one of these little blighters. Made it to our train, booked on the last one so no room for error and all was fine form then on! Snow from door to door, 1050 miles of the ###### stuff!
