    Mark me down as stupid, But the best fun to be had in the snow is when you remove your tyres altogether.
    Obviously you can leave the one on the back door.

      Narrow for snow. Cut's a track better. Unless it's really deep and you wanna float on it go super wide. Pump em up nice n hard. Just my opinion.

          When I hit sheet ice I lowered mine, on the principle that the more tyre in contact the more chance I have of finding some grip. It appeared to work as I didn't continue fishtailing (unlike the land rover who slid to a stop and fixed chains), but then I also walked (slid) the corner looking for the areas where I thought there might be grip. I also used low range so I took it at less than walking speed, with maximum engine breaking.
          Gone from 4x4 to 1x2

            Hmmm my tyre pressures were low.. (they leak) and I pumped them up today and I thought she was not a grippy, ...but its just my gut feeling ....thought i would ask

                I generally lower mine a couple of psi in snow from 30psi to 28 n haven't had any probs in past years, having said that this year (about 3-4 weeks ago)I had new GG At's fitted on 8" modular's when fitted inflated to 30 psi n didn't lower the pressure n they have coped excellent ......
