Mines always hardens and becomes stiff with different types of rubber......not good when it's cold though...

Scrape all the ice off the screen. Lift each wiper away from screen and push the middle of the blade towards the screen. Drop back on screen. Problem solved.

Works for me anyhow.

They'll fit but you can go up as much as 19" on each side for more screen coverage.

I have Bosch Super Plus blades on mine, tried pretty much everything else including PIAA, Valeo, flat blades etc and nothing is as good as the standard design Super Plus blades with a spoiler on the driver's side.

The Halfords trade card cuts them to about half price too.

I ended up buying some Champion Aero-somethingorothers. The proof will be evident on tomorrow's 120 miles first leg of the xmas oddyssey.

That's not too bad, it's roughly how often I change my wiper blades. New set around March and another new set at the end of October.

Thats good practice. Very few people put enough importance on wiper blades. They are a very important safety item and should be replaced regularly. Mine get done twice a year also.

check the screen wash as well...

If the temp is going to drop to below 0 i would recommend checking what screen wash you are using, make sure you take in to account the wind chill factor especially driving at night! I bought mine from halfords, put it in neat. I drove to Poland at the weekend and wasn't long before this happened and my nozzles blocked! but scary at night with the family in the car.

reminds me of scene from ghost busters!!! god knows what they make it out of for it to do this?

I had a similar experience last year with some rather unmanly pink washer fluid where I accidentally pressed the skoosher just before the Tore roundabout on the A9 past Inverness. Luckily it was about two in the morning and there were no other cars on the road but I still had to stick my head out the window to see where I was going

I did have to do that at one point and realised it was a stupid mistake, it was -17 and what ever the wind chill was a at 60mph! I didnt get my head far out before my eyes frosted over and felt like i had eaten a tennis ball size spoon full of ice cream straight out the freezer. Fuel station came up quick where some more suitable wash was purchased and flushed the remaining slime through while squirting deicer onto the nozzles! the poles and germans were watching me probably thinking stupid unprepared brit.
