  • Help Needed

Been a total pratt. changing the glow plugs and have lost what appears to be a spacer from where the bus bar connects and the others wires join.

so on that stud goes the bus bar. then plate with other wires and does the spacer thing fit on top and then the nut?

or have I got it wrong

          glow plug common rail

As far as I can work out the bar and the plate with wires should be isolated from the bolt and the spacer should be an insulting one between the nut and all the gubbins

Yes you're correct, there's a big spacer on top just before the nut holding it all together.

I just took some photos but the Laptop won't talk to the camera at the moment.

mine cracked from age and heat i replaced mine with fibre washers works brill. the washer/spacer stops the contact terminals earthing through the intake manifold off the bolt that holds it all together. if your making your own spacer just make sure the plate with the wires on arnt touching the big nut or your glow plugs will earth and wont work. i found this out when i changed my glow plugs.
