You might want to ring your local hospital, and ask for the on-call manager, and see if they need people with 4x4's to help ferry staff around between sites, or get essential staff to work (their BMW and Merc rear wheel drives are useless in icy conditions it seems)
they HAVE been asking in Worcester / Redditch / Kidderminster.
so if you feel you are able to help, they'd appreciate it.
