  • It Begins! (Pt2)

Well a few minor mods anyway. Fitted a bonnet protector and clear front indicator lenses today, waiting for chrome bulbs to arrive as the orange ones look cr@p.

I have some Osram Nightbreaker bulbs to fit but didn't fancy taking the batteries off today to gain access to the headlamps as it was bl00dy freezing!

Still waiting for clear wing indicators and chrome bulbs to arrive.

I still hanker for a wrap around bull bar though! (Awaits comments about porn star 'tash and Village People jibes!)

LOL, I was going to say reminds me of a 'mono-brow'.
Seriously though your truck looks mint, very nice indeed.

I'm not a big fan of the front bars on any of the trucks but everyone to their own.

    Good luck with it mate.

Nice motor - far tidier than mine !

You can do the bulbs without removing the batteries if you've got small hands ...

Not a lot at the minute mate. I might just keep this one standard, still it's early days yet!

That's an absolutely mint truck there mate, very nice. .
BTW, you'll find holes in the metal work top and bottom behind the plastic on that A bar for "additions" so to speak to make it look a little better , also your front bumpers seem to look a little low where they meet the flared arches, might be the camera angle though.

Next mod Jim, fit a proper aerial, and get rid of the hanging foglights. Im sure thats a watling towbar, with the American style receiver hitch, same as mine. Lovely truck.

Your right, the front bumper does look low causing a gap between it and the wheel arch extension. I've had a look behind it and there's no damage anywhere, I also had the truck HPI'd and no report of major accident damage. It may have just dropped, I'll have a better look when the weather improves.

New electric aerial is high on the list mate. Where do you suggest the rear fogs could be located (or am I asking for trouble with that question)?

Probably just wants adjusting a bit, nothing to drastic.
